Tonight I've been trying to get caught up with blog reading.
Eiglophian Press is near the top of my
must read list, so I was quite sad to find that the only thing at the site was this message:
The blog you were looking for was not found.
Is this as tragic as it sounds? Does anyone know what's up?
Not sure if you can add it (assuming you're not already following/subscribed), now that it's shut off, but I was following and therefore can still read all the posts via either Google Reader, or the "Blogs I'm following" portion of the Blogger Dashboard.
ReplyDeleteSeems to work for Wordpress and Blogger blogs.
Anyone in Binghamton, NY? Hope you're well and good G.
ReplyDeleteFirst thing in my head:
ReplyDelete"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Likewise, hope you're OK G.
I output an archive of all his posts from Google Reader.
ReplyDeleteDrag. One of my top reads as well.
ReplyDeleteyeah I noticed that yesterday, odd... hope all is well
ReplyDeleteAw, that sucks. I know we all fall off the blogging wagon now and then, but I hope he's doing okay.
ReplyDeleteI checked his other blog Quantique, and it's also gone: http://weirdlands.blogspot.com/
THAT is a shame, because it really had some neat stuff.
Here's an archive of Quantique, too.
ReplyDeleteYes - there are several lines of evidence that G. Benedicto has totally dropped out. His three blogs - Eiglophian Press, Quantique, and SF/F Booklog - are all offline. Also, if you click on his blogger profile it's been set on "private" (supposedly).
ReplyDeleteA great loss for us all. I hope everything's okay.
@Restless - Thanks for the archives, cool!
I 'd been missing EP for a couple of days but assumed it was just the usual Blogger problems. He'll certainly be missed. EP was my main jumping off point for surfing the blogs'o'sphere.
ReplyDeleteUPDATE: I heard from Greg B (aka Eiglophian Press).
