That "Visiona" style explodes of a '60s-'70s Barbarella-chic futurism. Whenever I need to make a dungeon out Logan's Run-styled Eloi settlement, in my Gamma World/Mutant Future games, I would use these images to help convey that weird hedonistic style.
I'm the proud owner of a Verner Panton chair I inherited from my architect grandfather. I also have some period rugs that are a point a bit in this direction. I wasn't aware of this sort of work of his and love it! One day when I own my own place...
Ha! I just gm´d (kept?) a CoC-Now scenario in that orange abomination of a canteen (wich was rebuild in the Hamburg Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe and used to be the canteen in the old headquarters of the Spiegel-Magazine)... Funny mind-control and a little gore!

ReplyDeleteOh, and "abomination" is not meant to be degatory!
ReplyDeleteAhhh great to see you active again!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are back, Cylopeatron. We seem to have similar tastes in art... you are always turning me onto shit.
