Animated Moebius: The Incal That Never Was

In the mid 1980s there was an aborted attempt by Moebius and Jodorowsky to make an animated version of L'Incal. Sadly, the project was never completed. The small amount of material that was finished is presented in this trailer. Watch and weep!

    '80s trippiness. It would be cool to see an Incal (or better yet, Metabarons) movie done today sans synth score.

    I understand the original concept was to have a Pink Floyd soundtrack.

    To be honest, though, I rather enjoy the weird minimal synth music with the cool laser beam sounds.

    Yeah, I think that would've passed without comment at the time. Frankly, if there weren't at least a little '80s synth I'd be disappointed.

    Also, I love how I was able to recognize several panels from that presentation. Comics are ready-to-film storyboards!
