Dean Ellis book cover

Unsigned painting, apparently by Dean Ellis. Approximately 6x9 book cover format. I do not know if this work was ever published - please contact me if you recognize this image.

Dean Ellis is one of my favorite paperback illustrators. He did many great science fiction covers in the 60s and 70s.

    I'm almost certain THAT was an Analog cover
    from the early eighties (you just have the
    color prelim-sketch for it).

    Those covers paid under $400 each when finished.
    Hard way to make a living!
